The last time I saw Kenny at the Mall of America, I said never again!
And after reading the 'rules' for this appearance, was reminded why:

Kenny Chesney Rules:
1. You must have a Mall of America issued numbered wristband in order to enter the autograph line. A limited number of wristbands will be distributed at 7am on Friday, December 5th in the East Parking Ramp on level one.

2. You may begin standing in line in the East Parking Ramp at Mall of America no earlier than 12:00am on Friday, December 5th. Port-a-potties will be provided.

3. At 6am, you will be asked to return all chairs, sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, etc. to your vehicles. Those items will not be allowed inside the Mall.

4. Wristbands will be placed on your wrist beginning at 7am on Friday, December 5th. Each and every person in your party must be present to receive a wristband.

5. You may not get a wristband for persons not present. Wristbands are non-transferable. No exceptions.

6. Once you receive your wristband, you will be allowed to enter the Mall to get your place in line.

7. If you want to keep your place in line, you must stay in line all day. You may leave the line briefly to get food or use the restroom, as long as someone saves your place in line.

8. If you choose to leave your place in line for an extended period of time, you will go to the end of the line when you return. Everyone with a wristband must be back in line by 6pm. No exceptions.

9. Handicapped seating will be available. Only one additional guest per handicapped person will be allowed in the handicapped seating area. All handicapped persons and their guests MUST still obtain a wristband. No exceptions.

10. Kenny Chesney will perform at 7pm, followed by the autograph signing.

11. Kenny Chesney will sign one item per person. However, he will sign more than one CD. Kenny is promoting his new album, All I Want For Christmas Is A Real Good Tan. The CD is available at the Sam Goody store in the Mall and will be available for sale at the event.

12. No posed photographs will be allowed.

13. No camcorders or digital video cameras.

14. There will be no personalization.

15. Cell phones and all personal items are to be put away once you reach the stage stairs.

16. People wearing wristbands that have been tampered with in any way will not be allowed through the autograph line. No exceptions.

It's nice of them to provide Port-a-potties for the fans standing in the freezing cold Minnesota weather... (see Rule #2).

I think I made the right choice staying home! My mom went after work Friday just to watch the show and said it was just pathetic! A friends daughter went too, and was in line at 4am and did not get a wristband - she was mad!!

They only gave out 500 wristbands, 200 or so more wristbands were given to people that won radio contests and were flown in from all over the country. Those poor people had to stay on the second level of the mall and watch from there and then could get in line behind the other 500 for autographs.

If you were not one of the first 500 or the radio winners and wanted to see the concert, you had to go to the 3rd and 4th levels and could not get an autograph - couldn't even go near the floor!

My mom did stay on the second level behind the radio winners, she was talking with a couple that came from Kentucky for a couple hours before security told her she wasn't going to be able to stay there. And if she did, she had to stay behind the radio winners. The nice couple took her camera and got some pictures for her.

He only sang for 30 minutes, just himself - didn't bring his band, sang all Christmas songs and his one new single.

For the autograph signing, of course you had to have a wristband. Those that didn't, couldn't even watch the signing! If you didn't have a wristband you could not stand around the barricades they put up around the Rotunda and just watch! Security made people keep moving.

A great company that uses points that you redeem (1000 points=$10). They'll usually give you a screener survey for 20-30 points and if you qualify, they'll ask you to continue on to a larger survey. These usually start from 300+ points. You'll get two surveys to start off - less than 5 minutes apiece. Only then will your account be activated. Be careful not to delete it as spam.
They usually pay $5-$20 bucks a survey. There are some for less than that, but the surveys are pretty painless.
