Outside the Radison with Craig Morgan! Heather, Cowboy (a radio friend of Craig's) & me!
After going through the autograph line one last time on Monday, me and the rest of the front row, there were 7 of us, were chatting with Craig's drummer and keyboard player while they waited for their equipment to be packed up. Then someone taps me on a the shoulder - guess who? Craig Morgan! So there we all were talking to the 'star' after the show! Craig asked if we had walked around the fair at all. We told him not at all. He was totally floored when we explained that we had gotten there at 8am all 4 days to have the front row. And we were there just to see the shows and nothing else! Obviously he knew we were at all 8 shows and in the front row, but he had no clue we came that early and stay at the Bandshell all day just to see him. He said had he of known that he would of brought us breakfast or something! Then he suggested we come to dinner with him - we're thinking, yeah, what? Pork-chops-on-a-stick down the street? He said no, and to come find him at the Radison Hotel downtown and we'd all go out to eat! That's exactly what we did!
It was us 7 girls, Craig, Dana (drummer) and Greg (keyboard player)! We had a great time just talking with him about
everything!! We were talking about his music, who he's been on the road with, radio, his family! He was even singing to us! It was so cool! He's such a nice guy! After we ate, the band members left, but Craig and the rest of us went back to the Radison and sat in the lobby and chatted some more! We stayed there with him til after midnight! We didn't want to leave, he was enjoying hanging out with us as much as we loved being with him. You know he'll never forget his "front row girls from Minnesota"! I can't wait to see him again! He better come back to Minnesota soon! I'm joining his Fan Club, I'll be at his Fan Club party next year for sure!
