"Jam Session" at Seaview Hotel
August 8, 2001

Cayman Country "The Caribbean's ONLY Country Music Festival" was held August 1st - 12th. The first weekend featured The Wilkinsons, Chris Cagle & The Kinleys! We went for the second half featuring JoAnna Janét, Travis Tritt & SheDaisy!! All the concerts were in the parking lot of the Seaview Hotel! Which is where we were staying!! It was definitely the place to be!

The fun began on Wednesday!! The first night there we met a bunch of great people, who were also staying at the Seaview. There were 3 guys there to film everything for GAC (Hi J.R., David & Shane!! thanks for everything!!) We hung out with them most of the week. They, of course had the inside scoop on all the activities the artists were doing and where they would be and when. So when the band members arrived at the airport Wednesday J.R. let us come with him! That was sweet to be there when they arrived! Boh said he was as pretty shocked when I yelled his name when he got off the plane!

Wednesday night was the "Welcome BBQ" at the Seaview... This entire event was catered more towards the "contest winners". (Apparently radio stations across the country held contests and there were 30 to 40 people that won a trip to "Cayman Country" - there were only 4 of us 'fans' that paid our own way there.) The Seaview has a really cool outdoor bar/restaurant, The Naked Fish, with a patio and that's where everyone was every night. I was expecting all the artists to show up at the BBQ. There was one SheDasiy there, Kristin. Jim, Boh and Randy came too. Boh came and ate with us at our table, the rest sat at their own table, but did come over and said hi! Later on there was a "Jam Session"! That was fun! The band sang 3 songs, Boh & Randy on guitar and Jim on drums. Jim's girlfriend sang too - she was awesome!!

Boh gets ready or his first dive in the Caymans!	Look out for SHARKS!!	J.R. & Rob Beckham (William Morris Agency) go for a night dive.

Me, David & Shane (the "GAC crew") hanging out at the SeaView. My mom and I didn't rent a car for the week, so when the "GAC Crew" wasn't filming or had down time they showed us around the island or brought us with on their runs. We all had a blast!
