From Bryan's Journal @ BryanWhite.com Posted: August 22nd, 2005 Hey everyone! A great big thanks to all who came to the show in Hayward, last Friday night! What a blast, it was just like “Old Times!” I know some of you traveled from Minnesota, St. Louis and even from California and that is truly amazing! How can I ever thank you enough for being so supportive? We played to a packed house full of energetic and very enthusiastic folks. If I haven’t said it enough already, you guys are what makes it all worth it. When the crowd is that excited, it makes the show so much fun for us. Remember that! We’ve always loved playing in the great state of Wisconsin, Minnesota, too. For some reason, we have always been well received in both states and have sold tons of records there, arguably more records than anywhere else! A great big thanks to Highway 101, they were great. I’ve always been a huge fan. I remember going to see them when I was 16 years old back in Oklahoma. There are so many talented people in the world. We played a 75-minute show and maybe a little longer. The response to the new songs was great. I hope you guys enjoyed hearing some new material for a change. I hope I didn’t talk too much (Ha!)! It was good to have Lee Hendricks back with us. His dad has been very ill and he wasn’t able to make Victoria and Midland. Please, if you would, remember him in your prayers. It was a blast getting to hang with you guys after the show. We literally met everyone in the building, I think! Everyone was so kind. I was blown away at all the stories, pictures, and kind and encouraging things some of you said. Thanks to the merch girls too. Ya’ll are crazy! To the parents I would like to apologize for some of you children not being able to come to some of the shows this summer. I am well aware of that, being a parent myself and want you to know that we are trying to book more shows that everyone is able to come to. We have to sometimes play where were the phone calls come from. Back to the show. It was awesome and I felt much love from the room. That was my favorite show of the summer so far!
