This was about a 10 year flashback for me! I wasn't always a country music fan, but when I started listening to it, Bryan White was the first country singer I really liked. He was the first concert I went too. First fan club I joined. First artist I traveled out of the state to see and also made a the first trip to Fan Fair week in Nashville for... and I think I've seen him in concert more than any other artist. I still have my Bryan White Website that I started in 1998!
The last time I saw him, was 3 years ago at his 2002 Fan Club Party. He took a few years off to start a family. He & his wife Erika welcomed their second son, Jackson Dylan in July. He joins big brother Justin Daniel who turns two in October. Bryan is working on a new album - "Out Of The Storm" will be available soon at BryanWhite.com!!
I went to the show with my mom and met up with several members of Bryan's Fan Club. The general admission show was suppose to be outside so we came prepared with lawn chairs and rain gear (60% chance of thunderstorms...) but when we got to the Casino we were told they had moved it inside!! YEA! We waited in line to get in the convention center for about 3 hours (about 1½ hours longer than we expected since they kept pushing the time to open the doors later...) They finally let us in at 6:30 and we got front row seats!! We had to sit through Highway 101 (and I'm sorry, I had no idea who they were, didn't recognized a single one of their songs...) Bryan finally came on just before 9:00!
Bryan's show was FANTASTIC! His set list included: Sittin' On Go, Look At Me Now, Rebecca Lynn, Love Is The Right Place, I'm Not Suppose to Love You Anymore, 634-5789, That's Another Song, Bad Day To Let You Go. And from From his new album he performed: Hands Of Time, The Little Things, Get It Together & Beautiful Place. Also, From This Moment On (with our help!), Someone Else's Star, So Much For Pretending and How Sweet It Is for his encore!
